Beautiful gigot sleeve / leg o' mutton sleeve bodice circa mid 1890s. Fabric is a thin wool or wool blend. Lined with polished cotton.
Hook and eye closures down the center front inner bodice. Silk ribbon inner waistband (missing hook).
Definitely a statement piece. The sleeves are really fabulous! They balloon at the shoulders and taper down to a very fitted forearm and wrist.
