The British Army MK4 NBC Trousers are a versatile protective garment designed to defend soldiers against nuclear, biological, and chemical threats. These trousers were to be carried as part of a two piece suit which also had over boots and gloves which when combined with an S6 or later an s10 respirator would be the first line of personal defence for the infantry. made of charcoal-impregnated felt, reinforced nylon, flame-retardant polyester, and butyl rubber. These suits feature a multi-layer design. These trousers are still vacuum packed and will retain the date of manufacture as well as their date of packing
