Vintage 1990s Callaghan Black Jersey Knit Long Sleeve Bodycon Dress, Medium

Gorgeous black slinky Callaghan dress that goes on the body like a glove and has multiple styling options. The neckline can hang off the shoulders or it can turn into a cowl drape at the back. It goes on over the head like a sweater and you can adjust the body, sleeves and skirt length to your desired style. Very sexy!

ERA/YEAR: The label seems to indicate that is from 1991, though we could not find the exact dress on the runway show videos from that year. However, there were other similar dresses.

Approximate, taken while laying flat.

Bust: 36" 
Waist: 30" 
Hip: 36" 
Length from front "v point neckline" to hem: 48“ 

The dress is labelled size 44. The mannequin is XS/S and the dress has not been pinned to it. The live model is a size small. We estimate that it would best fit a size medium but it is very stretchy. 

CONDITION: Good.
The only thing we are noticing is that there appears to some shedding happening like black dust from the fabric coming off on the mannequin. However, when we touch the fabric and try to locate the cause of this, we can't find one. It may be the spandex in the fabric blend shedding microplastic? This may be remedied with a wash but this garment is labelled dry clean only and we have not attempted wetting it.
